Accessible Van Rates:

Curb to Curb Pick-up/Drop-off…………..$15.00 + $3.50/mile

Door to Door, Pick-up/Drop-off…………$30.00 + $3.50/mile

Rural Area Surcharge……………………*$16.50

*Rural Surcharge will apply to any area beyond the boundaries of Pali, Wilson, and H-3 Tunnels, Waimanalo Home Road and Lunalilo Home Road.

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION

TheCAB’s accessible Van fleet is comprised of late model Ford Windstar minivans, factory equipped with ADA approved features.

Patrons can ride in discretion and comfort. Each van is air-conditioned with tinted windows, factory installed seatbelts for wheelchair customers’ needs, an accessible rear loading ramp, clean interiors, and a no smoking policy.

1 wheelchair passenger and 4 non-wheelchair passengers
or
2 wheelchair passengers and one companion passenger

DRIVER EXPERIENCE

TheCAB’s licensed, wheelchair accessible Van drivers are experienced in transporting customers with special needs. Each driver has completed thorough classroom and on-the-road training and has been screened for clean driving records. TheCAB’s drivers are friendly, courteous, patient, honest, and safety-conscious.
